I am a Bad Blogger!

I admit it- I'm bad at blogging.  First, my design is terrible.  I am considering paying someone to jazz up my blog.  Second, I need to find time to keep you current with all my finds.  How do you bloggers do it?

Anyway, thrifting while on vacation was not good.  I did find one Vera scarf and a nice pair of old glass pedestal dishes (pictures to follow).  Upon returning home, I visited an estate sale (3 visits over two days) and took home a lot of items!  I was like a kid in a candy store.  I promise to post some pics for you to see.

A visit to the local flea market also proved to be a success.  Just a few more things to add to the ever-growing pile in the garage.  What I need is for my husband and young-adult daughter (they are NOT fans of my junking endeavors) to go away for a few days so I can work with my treasures.  Anyone else in the same boat?

Have a great weekend!

I have a stack o' finds also. I keep a list of what I bought, where and the price in a notebook if that helps you at all. Are you going to sell at a booth somewhere?

Pam, now that's a dream... I didn't even get a garage sale organized this year! I probably have enough stuff to stock a booth, but no time to get it all together. Maybe, selling online might be a better option?? First things first- organizing!!! Thanks for the advice.

Hi,
Thanks for stopping by my blog. I was reading your profile and I would classify myself as more of a "keeper" too. The pile in my garage (and basement, and craft room....) is getting bigger but I have a hard time resisting great vintage stuff! It is nice to know that there are people who enjoy the same kind of "treasures".

Diane, I think you are correct. So things for me to do: clean out the garage, organize all my finds/goodies, get blogging!!! If only life didn't interfere!

Thanks for commenting on my blog! Yes, my treasure pile has gotten so big that I've finally had to start selling on Ebay again. I just can't resist a bargain, and I love the thrill of the hunt. Can't wait to see all of your finds from the estate sale. Aren't those the best kind of sales?!
