Hello, Winter!

Winter has finally arrived in northern Illinois.  It's about time!  I dislike driving on wintry roads, but I do like being cooped up in my warm house while the snow falls.  We're expecting 3-6 inches of snow- a nice start to the winter season!

"Welcome" to friends and winter!

As the sign says: Let it Snow!

This has been the warmest winter in Michigan I can remember. We're supposed to get 1/2" tonight and maybe some more tomorrow. I wonder if this late start in getting snow will extend our winter into the spring months...

I think Mother Nature will play catch-up for the next 2-3 months. Have fun and stay safe!

Thanks for visiting me at my blog :)
I'm off to see your posts with hankies
Big hugs,

Hi Queenie! I'm not sure I have many hankie posts. But, when pulling out/putting away Christmas decor, I found BUCKETS (and buckets!) of hankies. Some day (hopefully, in the near future), I need to count and better organize my collection. I have got to sell some of these!

It looks like your sign worked - you have snow. I put together a winter wreath - and we got a dusting of snow. Perhaps I need a sign like yours.
